ENG vs AUS, 3rd Ashes Test, Day 3 Highlights:

On Day 3 of the third Ashes Test between England and Australia at Headingley, England made a strong start to their chase of 251 runs, ending the day at 27 without loss. Rain delayed the start of play until after Tea, but once the match resumed, England’s openers held their ground.

Australia, who started the day at 116 for 4, struggled to build on their lead. Despite a gritty 77-run knock by Travis Head, they were bowled out for 224. England’s captain Ben Stokes had earlier played a dynamic innings of 80 runs to keep his team’s Ashes hopes alive. Moeen Ali then took two quick wickets before Stumps.

At the end of Day 2, Australia had been 116-4 in their second innings, with a lead of 142 runs. They were looking to go 3-0 up in the series, but England’s strong performance on Day 3 has given them hope of a comeback.
